Ceiba boliviana, over here known as "paineira-rosa", occurs on a vast territory including Brasil, Bolivia and Paraguay. It has a very particular way of spreading its seeds. After pollination, big "bulbs" are formed. They contain the seeds that are surrounded by a cotton bed.
